The Enable project is part of a broader intiative in Gwynedd called 'Llwyddo yng Ngwynedd' (Succeed in Gwynedd).

Gwynedd Council, on behalf of the Gwynedd Economic Partnership, has secured funding from the Rural Development Plan for Wales (RDP)2007 – 2013, which is part financed through the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development - to establish the Enabling Fund: Rural Economy; Rural Tourism and Farming Families. The fund will be active between May 2011 and September 2013.
